Print ready packaging files
We build files to your printer spec, so your printer has no questions. Layered files, correct color and bleed, plus support until your proof is approved.

What’s included
Built to printer spec
Layered files, outlined type, correct color setup, bleed and trim marks per printer spec.
Dieline setup
Artwork placed on the printer’s exact dieline, with cut, fold and glue areas on their own layers.
Bleed and safe areas
Bleed on every edge, and important text kept clear of cut lines and folds.
Color setup
Files prepared in the color mode your printer asks for, including spot colors where the design uses them.
Finish layers
Separate, clearly named layers for foil, spot UV, embossing or white ink.
Proof support
We review the printer’s proof with you and correct the files until it is approved.
Small file problems, expensive reprints
Most reprints do not come from bad design. They come from small file problems: text too close to a fold, a barcode that will not scan, a missing bleed, or a finish layer the printer did not expect. Any one of them can delay a launch or ruin a full print run.
Built to printer spec
Every printer has its own requirements. We start from their dieline and specifications and set up the artwork the way they ask for it.
For the Medusa Interface mailer box, that included a print specification sheet alongside the artwork: a corrugated mailer with 4 color process printing, matte lamination and spot UV on the logo.
Checked before it leaves the studio
Before files go out, we check the dieline, bleed, safe areas, fonts, image resolution, color mode, barcodes and finish layers. Our note Five checks before your supplement label goes to print covers the problems we see most often.

Frequently asked questions
Common questions.
Which files do I receive?
Print ready press files set up to your printer’s specifications, plus the editable source files.
What if the proof shows a problem?
We stay with the project until the proof is approved. If the printer flags an issue or a color looks wrong on the proof, we correct the files and resend them.
Do you work with any printer?
Yes. Send us your printer’s dieline and specifications, wherever they are based, and we will set up the files to match.
How much does it cost?
Cost depends on SKU count, dielines and file complexity. If we designed the pack, prepress is part of the project. For files only, send your dielines for a custom quote.
