A road saddle with a split nose and a textured cover. Selvanes modeled the saddle and its rails in 3D and rendered it from every side on white.

Brief
We modeled a road saddle with a split nose and a textured cover in 3D and rendered it from every side on white. The work covered the saddle shell and the metal rails.
Challenge
A saddle is judged by shape. The top, side and underside views each had to reveal something different, from the cut out to the shell shape to the rails, without any view feeling like a repeat.
Design Outcome
Top, side and underside views make the cut out, the shell shape and the rails easy to understand. The white studio set keeps the saddle as the sole focus, so the shape does the talking.
